Overview
Hallow's Orchard seems as good a place as any to live. Small, isolated community. Good farmland. Friendly people. A raucous tavern with flirtatious patrons. Despite this, however, there is something unsettling about the town. The reverend is just a little too abrasive, perhaps, or the old farmer a bit too jovial. Unease hangs like a fog in the autumn air. It soon becomes clear that something is very, very wrong in the idyllic 18th century-style community of Hallow's Orchard- but what that something is is far more difficult to see. Through twenty-seven short stories, S. Francis and F. Riccio masterfully weave the tales of horror and humor, melancholy and mirth, light and dark, and death and life of this little town through the very eyes of the people that see- or don't see- the horror that is rampant in their very homes. The authors have compiled a legendarium of the tales, poems, and sayings from Hallow’s Orchard. With each story being from the perspective of a different townsperson, and each saying offering hilarious insight to the tales, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy in the stories of this little town lost to the wood.
