Blood and Fire Publishing is proud to present the Nevermore series, in which Thorton Maldonado (maverick author of And Love Dreamt Its Death, The Quoth and Songs of Love and Death) tells the story of Edgar Allan Poe writing his masterpiece, The Raven while being besieged by dark supernatural forces from without and within. Ultimately, an epic love story about genius, madness, sacrifice and redemption, this dark fantasy/ gothic horror play, A Midnight Dreary, is the first in the Nevermore series that will span the works of Poe and the otherly worlds beyond. For a companion piece, please check out the poetry collection, The Quoth and its forthcoming sequel, which Thorton Maldonado wrote together to be able to write this play in the same prosody and poetic meter as the literary genius.
