Ozgood, a kingdom in need. The king is the land, and the land is the king. The kingdom of Ozgood is broken. Once ruled by great and mighty kings, the generations to follow have grown weak and petty. The throne and noble houses are ruled by wastrels who demand more from the people yet provide less and less. Entire villages deserted, and the crops neglected. The evil permeating the kingdom has touched the town of Kel, and there is one person who thinks Magnusson is the man to help them. With two companions he sets out in search of a woman and two young girls taken by bandits in a raid on the town. The companions will encounter friends and foes beyond imagination and Magnusson, he will wish he never let the buxom innkeeper talk him into going. **This book contains violence and a small amount of profanity. It is not recommended for children or anyone who doesn't like dwarves butchering the Kings English.**
