Zombie survival story from the point of view of a security officer at a local zoo, as shown through logs and personal stories.Watching the sky and seeing a military strike nearby, the main character bares witness to the begining of the end of the world as he knows it. From there on it is a question of survival in one of the compounds of humanity that the government sets up. As the dead rise, and metamorph from one kind to another, the challenges change. Intermixed are stories from around the world as well.
