Overview

"The Demon League" is the long-awaited sequel to Andy Zambrano's previous horror novel "Isabel Hannah." It tells three intertwining and connected stories: 1) He roams the earth in search of evil spirits to cast back into the Abyss, a power he was given when he awoke in the middle of the desert in West Texas over twenty years ago with no memory of his past. His name is Rodrigo Montenegro, and he has just been visited by a tortured spirit from the Void between Heaven and Hell, who claims to have known Rodrigo in his forgotten past. He offers him guidance to the answers he seeks, in return for going on a deadly mission to pull the spirit from the Void. But Rodrigo fears this apparition may not be what it claims. 2) Lucien Donovan is in the first weeks of serving a life-sentence, when he too sees an apparition which offers him freedom in return for his obedience. He rejects the offer, but there are things he fears more than imprisonment; things that can only be prevented if he accepts. 3) Meanwhile, Malachi and his friends are coming to terms with the events that changed their lives in "Isabel Hannah." Malachi secludes himself in search of answers to what really happened on Halloween in 2018. He fears the horror may not be over, and its scale may be greater than they ever imagined.
