In the quiet sub-arctic village of Felway, nestled in the heart of Fangnettle Fjord, a series of brutal murders are on the rise, and Councilman Rhengar Velden finds himself at the heart of the investigation. Time is of the essence as the light fades further with each passing day, and the possibility of the village's demise before winter’s end becomes a very real threat. Panic rises, and discontent threatens everything that keeps Felway safe as Rhengar begins to uncover Felway’s sinister past and a much more dangerous foe than he ever could have anticipated. As undead spirits, blood magic, and terror begin to close in on every side, Rhengar’s past returns to haunt him, and the very fragile power structures in place begin to crumble. His failure means nothing less than the deaths of everyone he was sworn to protect.
