Winner of an honorable mention in The Canadian Tales of the Fantastic Short Story contest 2014, "Twilight Glyph" is part of Deborah Cannon's popular series the Raven Chronicles. The story is a tale of Jake Lalonde's ancestors. Set before the half-Haida archaeologist's adventures, the action unfolds in the prehistoric past—in a time when bears could transform into humans and magic determined the difference between life and death.
