Overview

(This book is now published under the name A. R. Redington.)The date of 0 S.F. marks the beginning of the Sorcēarian settlement on Earth. Sir Gaius, who headed the mission, created the land of Ives to house his people. Though initially welcomed with open arms, as time passed, the angelic race met nothing but scorn from humanity. While the original mission of the Sorcēarians was to guide civilization into a world of peace, eventually intense warfare consumed all the lands. As hostilities worsened, the Gaius lineage awaited the arrival of the Arbitrator—the one prophesied to bring final judgment upon Earth. At birth, Dovian was perceived to be small and weak; the expectation of him fulfilling his role as a mighty warrior became doubtful. As there remained no sign of the Arbitrator, the Gaius family feared for the future of the human race. To prepare the boy for any hardships he may encounter, Sir Gaius personally mentored Dovian over the years, which led him to master Scarlet status and become a high-class medic at an accelerated rate. Teamed alongside his equally skilled friends, Dovian found that the worst of enemies weren’t necessarily met on the battlefield but were those closest to him and sometimes the most difficult battles are fought within oneself.Follow the critical moments of Dovian’s life leading up to the annihilation of his home and its seemingly perfect civilization in this prequel to the Esoteric Design series.
