He's taken a job with the Underwater Archaeology Branch in Wilmington, an outfit tasked with salvaging The Queen Anne's Revenge, Blackbeard's main sail. When Jillian's father ends up in handcuffs during the course of the Miller's first night in town, she rightfully assumes the best course of action is to pack up and go home. Stubborn, Mr. Miller is hell-bent on sticking it out for the sake of his job. With no other recourse, Jillian will attempt to break the curse, or die trying.Ghosts, a lethal pie, urban legends, a cold murder case, unrelenting superstition, an intricate conspiracy, a young boy with extraordinary scientific skill, and a tipsy psychic will all collide to test Jillian Miller's resolve and her will to live.
