Overview

A haunting tale. Is there anything worse than being buried alive? This is an unconventional tale unlike any other, told through stream of consciousness, dream sequences and out of body experiences. Embark upon fantastic adventure, through nightmares, mythological and psychological insights, as well as ghostly encounters. We all want to keep something sacred. There are those with gifts.Secret societies and ancient orders still exist.Truth is stranger than fiction.Ireland is the Garden of Eden and Nineveh housed the Gardens of Babylon.Religion, Science, Magic: We all believe in at least one.Life is a joker and death is a thief.String theory will explain our universe.A man decides to join a monastery for a year to get his life in order. When he arrives, he begins to understand that it is not a monastery at all and eventually realizes in time that there is no escape! When he learns of his plight, he fights to find a way to escape, if there is one, and begins a dangerous game exacerbated by not knowing who is friend or foe. While in the monastery, or whatever it is, he writes a novel about a British detective: Sunday is a brilliant detective. He isn’t Sherlock Holmes, Inspector Morse or Hercules Poirot. He needs others to fill in the blanks for him sometimes. His drug addiction is a major hindrance to his skills and his failed marriage has hampered his career. But he always seems to find a way, or a person, to lead him to the truth, to find the “anonymous author of death” and solve the case in the end. This is the debut of Nick Sunday, a detective invented by an author named Ian Llewellyn. Or is Ian the invention of Detective Sunday? As the writer and detective begin to blend until they become one, is it a wonder that perhaps they were both invented by an even higher power?
