Tawnee Rhys had a painting of her done in 1893 by a very peculiar man with an even more peculiar promise. The object of the painting would not age as long as their eyes did not gaze upon the painting itself. She enjoyed over a hundred years of excess until she met a man she was sure was the one. A humble and poor remodeling company is how she and her husband make a living now. One day they booked the job of a lifetime in the ritzy neighborhood of Spring Valley. Here she meets the Nichols, a wealthy couple with a few peculiar secrets of their own, and their mysteriously lavish neighbor Mr. Woods. It is clear not all is as it seems in the houses stuffed with money and temptation. Marriages prove not to be the strongest of bonds two people can have as Tawnee learns more about her well to do clients and the circle of friends they travel in. When a secret is revealed it seems as though death is lurking around every corner to take another unexpected victim. Only trouble is, who is behind it all? Will Tawnee be lucky enough to survive and find out?
