Overview

The first twelve years of her life the girl Gypsie had lived with her parents an unconventional Bohemian life (Book 1 of ‘The Gypspirit’ Trilogy). It had been set in Montauk at the tip of Long Island knowing Nature’s forces while founded upon spiritual endeavors seeking the truth of life, permeated by the study of ancient spiritual teachings of the world, and enriched by the latest scientific findings. In these years, Gypsie had been grown up with the belief that one’s Self was mirrored in the Universe according to the saying ‘as above, so below’. All was consciousness with the Light as the primal source. One own’s mind with its conscious streams of thoughts, desires, imaginations, judgments, or emotional turmoil veiled the Light, while simultaneously created and fashioned one’s life. In other words, a mind’s specific alignment implied a specific life, expressing the law of Karma, of ‘cause and effect’. One experienced what one created. Therefore, Gypsie lived according to the credo ‘Know Thyself’. Only if you knew the mind’s realms, the workings and the means of consciousness, would you understand life, and could then take control to ultimately achieve self-mastery and enlightenment. A person’s consciousness must absorb and integrate more and more of formerly subconscious content over the course of life. Life is a continuous work with the mind, a Hero’s Journey, entailing studies, meditations, dream journeys, and critical and honest self-analysis, which had also revealed her alter ego ‘The Gypspirit’. Book 2 of ‘The Gypspirit Trilogy’ takes up Gypsie’s self-empowering journey, when she has left Montauk and moves with her parents to Paris to take care of a dying Uncle. While watching her parents guiding the Uncle through his transformational process into the afterlife with prayers and rituals, learning about the different death stages and the dissolution of the elements, she also acquires a deeper knowledge of the historical evolution of human consciousness. Many different creation-stories are told, from ancient myths to modern, scientific theories. After the Uncle’s transformation into light, they return to Montauk. Here a new chapter begins. Gypsie becomes a woman celebrating her Menarche ritual and becoming aware of the wonders of her body, its cycles and rhythms. Shortly after, she departs with her parents once more to spend a year at Elveden, a community in Bavaria, Germany. In closeness with Nature, in sync with the land, the flowers and trees, she experiences the year’s wheel and its different celebrations and rituals. She is introduced to Kulning, an ancient singing-calling, the bees’ ways, to astrology and the art of tarot cards, Hygge amongst other things. Then the Corona pandemic hits the world. While the world goes in lockdown, she experiences her very own lockdown with a severe case of vertigo. In this forced retreat she has to face an old shadow of hers. Enduring her dark weeks of the soul, she once more comes to recognize her power in this psychic game. This power which seems to be connected with the Symbol of the Light of Love which continues to appear in her different psychic visions enlightening her ordinary life. Again, the book is an intimate invitation to not only witness, but to put one’s Self into Gypsie’s sometimes challenging but quite mind-opening, healing and self-empowering spiritual journey requiring self-responsibility. A journey founded upon ancient and modern, scientific teachings about the mysteries of life.A journey which happens in intertwined closeness with Earth and Nature.A journey permeated by dreams, dream journeys and other psychic experiences.A journey which is nothing but a gradual spiritual awakening within the body.
