A plague known as the blight is spread by ravens, and has brought human civilization to its knees. Life is now lonely and dangerous, and as the Earth reclaims cities and villages for its own once more, everyone deals with it differently. This collection of poems tells the stories of the humans and ravens who live in this world. Become acquainted with Mercy- a creative young woman in all black who has little trust for anyone, Lukas- an optimistic musician hoping to make contact with his missing lover, Ranac- a raven who discovers a love for reading, The Postman- a stoic and fearless man who wanders the road delivering letters despite the ruin, and a lonely lighthouse keeper who has known nothing but this deserted world.
