Overview
ABOUT THE BOOK In "Earth on the Edge" Callie Simms and her sister Meg are among a team of humans surveying the multiple threats facing our planet, understanding the grim possibilities all too well. Meanwhile, a group of disembodied beings from the ancient lost civilization of Atlantis seeks to work with them as part of an unfolding cosmic plan intended to avert a global catastrophe. Side by side, two stories develop - one of lurking doom, the other of evolution. Uncertainty knits these themes into a story for our times. ABOUT THE AUITHOR In 1998, P. Jo Richmond took an early retirement from State employment in order to retool for a second career. She received a masters in Creation Spirituality from Naropa University and then attended the Chaplaincy Institute in Berkeley where, in 2005, she was ordained as an interfaith chaplain. For more than a decade she has been committed to hospice work. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has two daughters and three grandchildren.
