“The truth is always right, and knowing it can never hurt you.” That’s what a young Paloma Beatriz Rojas Moran was told by her mother as she taught her the ancient art of tarot card reading. But Paloma’s life proved otherwise. Working as a hair stylist in a small beach town, Paloma was perfectly content, until she encountered the cards again and her Mama’s voice returned. As she followed her calling, the tarot cards lured her with knowledge and led her into a terrifying trap. It started as a hobby, answering questions about romance and money troubles for friends and salon clients. But soon Paloma started receiving visions of the future. Innocents were going to be hurt and killed, and Paloma was the only one who knew. What she came to know became her undoing. This is her confession of what she had to do, because she knew too much. And the knowing hurts.
