When it comes to the world of the supernatural, the citizens of Hawaii are luckier than most. Things have been quiet lately, and Marcus Aries couldn’t be happier about it. That is, until the recently appointed kingpin of the Hawaiian cartel shows up and offers him a job he can’t refuse. Now he’s stuck trying to track down a murderer, one who strikes without warning and drags its victims down to a watery grave. To make matters worse, he’s agreed to work as a security consultant for the upcoming United Nations meeting. Not a big deal, except that as the bodies begin piling up, he finds himself questioning who, or better said what, he’s actually protecting.
