Overview
British settlers have invaded lands over the Appalachian Mountains into Shawnee, Cherokee, Mingo and Delaware territories. Determined to stop the invaders, Shawnee War Chief Little Owl Quick as the Wind has united the tribes in one village and together, they protect their lands. All is going well for the war chief until one day his younger brother is caught by settlers, beaten, hung, and left to die. Little Owl saves his brother only to be presented with a new problem. He and his brothers are dying from a curse meant to protect them.Their spirits are dying but their bodies are strong. It can’t remain that wayforever. Eventually, the curse within them will destroy their bodies along with their wives and mother. The curse that had bonded all four brothers so they would feel each other’s pain and become depressed if one ever died was meant to help them. Yet now the curse had turned on the brothers and Little Owl has no choice but to save his family.Little Owl and his brothers have lived their entire lives never knowing the truth of who they truly are and the spell their mother’s aunt had placed upon them and their mother. The war chief must end this curse but first he needs to remind his eldest brother, who lives the life of a white man at Schroenbrunn Village, just who he truly is. How will the Shawnee war chief be able to convince Hawk Song Watching from the Sky to regain his Shawnee identity and save their family from destruction?
