Overview
Sixteen dimensions have broken away from the Alpha universe to form the Beta cosmos. This cosmos is so new its dimensions are still being stress tested. The coolest planet in the Beta cosmos is Ursis; its the only planet that has magic. Bathos in a land in the northern hemisphere. Its got problems. The Deathmage Baskane the Horrible is fuming and has vowed to destroy the ruling city of Raibus and rule for a thousand years; despite the fact he probably won't live past 120 at best. Fate has left the defense of the realm in the hands of Granwell the Magnificent. Fate recorded the future in the cryptic Horus Prophesies. A fine plan apart from the fact Granwell died ten years ago. Is the realm defenseless? Sage-Wizard Benedict doesn't think so. The Grand Wizard Benedict is working from The Korsikan Prophecies. All the other wizards think this set of prophecies is nothing but bunkum. Fate agrees; total bunkum - but the Korsikan Prophecies keep coming true. Why is that? Benedict is certain his champion will save Bathos from the evil Deathmage. Odd choice by most peoples book; Tumbleweed is so inept he once got bested by a rapid tortoise. Is this useless coward really destined to save Bathos? Fate says no. This book is a homage to Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. The Korsikan Prophecies is designed to be relentless amusing. The author hopes you find it as half as funny as the fantastic novels these guys wrote in their hey day.
