In "Pale" a biochemistry graduate student lands the career opportunity of a life-time as she is offered a lucrative position at Bogenics biological research firm by the reclusive Dr. Krank. However, her first task may soon prove to be her last as she is ordered to begin construction of a threatening pathogen with world-wide implications.
