Overview

This is almost the complete first chapter of the book... One hundred thousand years ago I was a gnome named William. A gnome was a human like creature that was about 5 feet tall and was a well rounded individual. When I say rounded, the features of the body are not rigid but rounded and beautiful. I had a wife named Marella at the time and in this magical realm known as Volaire, Marella was the center of my world. She had red hair cropped short around the ears. She was a well rounded and curvy looking woman. We never aged past thirteen as it was our pinnacle of blossoming as gnomes and we also had the ability to live forever. We as a couple had been working for a wizard named Mortrose in Volaire. This wizard would play the gray beard, but was actually just as youthful as us. The wizard would give us tasks and we would do them for him. He represented God to many of us in this realm. About twenty thousand years before now, now being 2014 Earth time, the wizard Mortrose had captured Kendrick the black widow spider. This spider was not an ordinary spider, but rather was really a black wizard elf named Kendrick. This black widow was as big as a man. Mortrose had to shrink Kendrick the spider down to the size of a normal Volairin spider and magically put him in a jar. When Mortrose opened the jar, he added water with soil in the center of it. Mortrose then shrunk Kendrick the spider down to the smallest increments possible for its form. You couldn't see the spider on the soil anymore. What the wizard wanted to do was to trap the spider from disturbing space and time. Now the wizard Mortrose was able to stop time but the spider was also able to unpause himself. Kendrick the black widow was able to escape Mortrose's probes during the next phase of the experiment. Mortrose did not want to outright kill Kendrick because he thought that Kendrick would reincarnate as a more powerful wizard. The wizard Mortrose started an experiment with the soil in the jar. He created stable land masses and miniature vegetation. After a hundred years he created an android race of beings on this artificial plane to find Kendrick the spider, but Kendrick was able to control some of these androids and use them to combat against Mortrose's attacks. The experiment started to change the androids, they started to develop technologies that created fortresses and cities. What then happened was Kendrick; the black widow spider started to exploit the androids and make them submit to his wishes. He developed workshops for more advanced technological machines throughout his time in the jar and there would be wars. Mortrose would take over resources and then Kendrick would fight back and take resources from Mortrose's army of androids. This jar had a screen, a thin paper that was a see through substance to keep the jar closed. What the wizard Mortrose did was create a light source and artificial moon for the jar. It seemed that there was a day and night complete with stars in the sky for the vegetation and life in the jar. The androids had a system of birthing children for their sophisticated android bodies; almost human. What the wizard Mortrose wanted to do was send some gnomes to the world and study it from the inside. So Mortrose, asked me, my wife, James and Jenna to incarnate as androids in this jar. James and Jenna were a few gnomes that lived in my village. This was very special magic that the wizard Mortrose was able to accomplish. Again this artificial jar realm was in existence for twenty thousand years and the androids were at war with each other because of Kendrick the black widow spider had a faction that wanted to control that realm and all realms.
