Summer. 1989. The age of innocence. Two terrified boys grow up fast in a Perfect Town where a voracious and insatiable Monster grows huge in a derelict factory… out where sidewalks end, and no one knows where you are.... Will-Fred is neglected. Elmo has asthma. Peers hate them. How could they convince either parents or town elders of the bloodcurdling danger? But then, they discover the most chilling menace is much closer than their worst nightmares and they need to take out the Monster anyway they can…..
