A cursed bloodline tries desperately to break free from their curse, but often fails and repeats the same mistake. Necromancy and other deadly magic is a high risk that often leads to death in the family. Volume 2 follows the creature's first seventeen years of life after a ritual gone awry. Yericho Mavet dedicates his life studying the creature and taking it in as a pseudo apprentice. Over time he grows fond of the creature and treats them like the child he's always wanted. As he delves deeper in his research he comes across a startling revelation, putting the creature and his life at risk.
