Overview
Horror is a popular genre in comic books. This course goes into detail concerning styles, characters, techniques, dramatization, and the use of reference. Graphic examples show the relationship between film and comic books on this subject. Joe Kubert's DVD contains actual drawing demos illustrating horror stories. If you’ve ever wanted to create a graphic horror story, this is the course for you. It’s like having Joe at your side, talking you through the steps. This correspondence course was specifically designed by Joe Kubert to help and encourage students (of all ages and abilities) who have an interest in this form of art. It starts off with the basics and is part and parcel of what it takes to draw cartoons effectively. An accompanying DVD featuring Joe Kubert is included with the lesson book. Contained within this lesson book are five assignments that you can do from your home and send to us to be critiqued by our staff of professional cartoonists. We then mail (or email) your critiqued assignments back to you. These five critiqued assignments can be purchased separately through our .
