This is the first side story in the Jinsong Liwu Shao series, this is a touching tale about his past and how he became part of Shouwei's family. Xing-long is in the forest near his home collecting herbs when he becomes aware of a baby crying. At first he thinks nothing of it but as the infants cries intensify he decides to go and investigate and soon discovers the baby is not human, but a Necrosis Deity.
