Overview

For centuries, the women of Mayfield Plantation have held a secret. Ella is the youngest of the Callahan girls who lives with her mother on the family farm. Ella runs a small shop in charming Georgetown, South Carolina that specializes in homeopathic therapies and remedies that bring a colorful and varied clientele through her door. A practical young woman, Ella is unprepared for the chaos two strangers will unleash on her life. Ella’s oldest sister turned her back on Mayfair and family years ago when, out of now where, she realizes her sister is in perilous danger. In a race against time, Ella races to save all she loves from a dangerous man who will stop at nothing to destroy everything he touches. The secret the Callahan women carry is the only thing that can save everyone from the darkness that is slowly engulfing. Meanwhile, another stranger arrives to provide strength and hope. Born in a town with rich folklore, Ella grows accustomed to ghost stories but now she lives in one. A man in gray uniform appears from nowhere, flashes the sweetest smile, tips his hat, and before Ella can gather her senses, disappears into thin air. Ella finds a white camellia in the exact spot where he appeared. Disturbed by her sightings, Ella seeks her mother’s and friend’s help. In the days to come, Ella realizes that the white camellia, its rarity and beauty, will lead her to the man who owns her heart.
