Liam Dougherty is man haunted by his past. An alcohol fueled train wreck, this brilliant psychologist and Catholic priest is haunted by a vision of a man he could not cure before he committed a despicable act - a rampage in a hospital maternity ward. Guilt riddled, Dougherty climbed into a bottle and remained there until coaxed back into the priesthood by the Church to investigate a possible stigmata. This stigmata is on a child with a very rare condition, a child with the ability to rewrite the future of mankind. The markings on this terminally ill little girl seem to foretell the future and suggest the whereabouts of "Terminus", the last book of the Bible.
