Pirate ships waited in ambush, poised to attack. Fierce fighting ensued. In despiration, he uttered words of power. His wooden javelin sprang to life, wielding itself with a will of its own. Too late he realised, as the wood split, each piece possessed a mind of its own. They became killing soldiers, battling tirelessly all enemies.His ship wasn't the last battlefield.
