Everyone is faced with choices. Some are pursued in bright sunlight by happy faces and received with pleasantries; others are made in dimly lit back alleys and the dark corners of bedrooms. The options we are faced with can be frightening and troublesome, but choices must be made. More often than we would like to admit, decisions seem to be out of our control entirely. But are they really? The short stories in Predilection attempt to answer that question and explore the consequences of man’s free will, even if its products are the deepest, purest nature of the human mind is unspeakable.
