This debut novella of the horror/soap/mystery series will introduce the haunted and deadly town, Halliwell Ridge, which sits in a hollow that some calls, The Deathly Hollow! A single mother, April Donavan, has recently moved into this new town from Greenville, Tennessee. She is running away from an abusive husband and his disgraceful family. She is wanting to make a better future for her two boys, Aaron and Lukas. Aaron is a 17 year old junior high school student, and Lukas is a 12 year old fifth grade student. As they get settled into their new schools and meet new people in their lives, and their mother does the same with her new job, they will all learn that they have moved into a place of mystery. The recent mystery has been murders occurring along a back wood road, Clementine Road, and the victims have all been alcoholics. The local police department has no evidence that gives any clues to the suspect. Plus, Sheriff Elizabeth Reynolds has always had trouble keeping her daughter, Emily, out of her work. Emily has motivation to become a journalist someday and takes any opportunity to get practice. The new student in her high school class, Aaron Donavan, gets involved after they start getting to know one another. This novella will take some twist and turns as characters and mystery is introduced to the new family in town!! And there is even more to come as the last page is turned in this first installment of THE DEATHLY HOLLOW
