The Haunting of Port Mansion 💀 scary.co

The small town of Clontarf on the coast of Ireland just north of Dublin had grown over the years, but its identity and character as a seaside resort of the affluent residents of Dublin remained intact. There was a smattering of inns and pubs and other restaurants along the Promenade which was home to the famous Baths of Clontarf and it was just inland of this attractive area that William Dubose built his retirement home calling it the Port Mansion. William had been a fisherman ever since he was a kid and this location allowed him to remain in the atmosphere he had grown to love to the point of obsession. William melded in well with his new neighbors when he arrived but health issues soon gained him the reputation of being a recluse and a hermit. One day his body was discovered and the cause of death ruled a drowning yet his corpse was found in a bone-dry house. It became a curious mystery in Clontarf that was never solved but birthed many legends that the locals used to entertain themselves for generations as the mansion went dark and vacant for nearly a century. However, as often happens these old places get dredged up for one reason or another and in the case of the Port Mansion, it was the celebrated and innovative young chef in Limerick, Jeremy Archer. Jeremy had done well for himself in Limerick but he longed to open and run his own restaurant and when he found out about an oddly-run auction for the old Port Mansion he jumped at the opportunity. He moved there with his wife, Alexa, and together they began the renovation of the long-neglected Port Mansion into a top-flight restaurant with a small boutique hotel offering attached. Alexa was to run the hotel while Jeremy entertained customers with his culinary prowess in the restaurant. But during the renovations, problems arose. Some normal construction issues, but also some that were hard to explain that only Alexa was the recipient of. Opening and closing door, phantom footsteps across the floorboards, and the playing and laughter of children just to name a few. Not one to be a firm believer in things that occurred outside the physical realm, Alexa was beginning to wonder about her belief system soon enough. However, then she brought these events to Jeremy's attention he refused to even consider them. So were they real or was Alexa's imagination too sensitive as Jeremy insisted? If you rush and get over to the Port Mansion now you might be in time for the grand opening of Jeremy's new restaurant. But hurry...it's just around the corner and you might want to get there before it is too late for you to decide if all of this is true or just another legend...
