Overview

“Witches Reverberation is one of the unique “Cthulhu Mythos” written in 1977 now reedited in a more modernised fashion by Antonia Robb. It is all encompassing of Urban fantasy magic, mythology, paranormal, supernatural mystery and dark fantasy(Gothic) . The mythos consists of a series of a dozen or so stories, interrelated but not interdependent based upon a common central theme. The idea still remains that before man ever evolved upon the earth, a race of creatures called the “Old ones came to the world from the deep part of the space to rule. But they were essentially demonic in nature, and when man came upon the earth, they subjugated him. Some men in turn worshipped this creatures. Subsequently, the old ones lapsed in their rule and either fell into a dreamless slumber in the earth's remote places or vanished into other dimensions of space and time. But the seed of evil had either been planted in man by the old ones, or it had existed already. In any case, by using certain horrible rituals that survived from the old one's reign on earth, small enclaves of human beings remained dedicated to the old ones, virtually forming a religion on the basis of their return. And it was through those surviving rituals found in books like nicronomicon that the old one's reinherintance of the earth could be effected”.
